About the role
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to design and deliver a diverse range of activities for our residents at Neile Court Care Home. You will bring energy, ideas, and a caring attitude to enhance the daily lives of our residents and connect them with the wider community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and organise a variety of activities for individuals, small groups, and larger resident gatherings.
- Deliver the ‘Resident of the Day’ programme to build personal connections with each resident.
- Collaborate with local community groups and external organisations to broaden activity options.
- Coordinate trips, outings, and experiences within the local area for residents.
- Arrange seasonal celebrations, charity events, and other key annual activities.
- Maintain a safe and engaging environment, ensuring all activities are suitable for all residents.
Required profile
- Friendly, welcoming, and entertaining personality.
- Understanding of the care sector is advantageous.
- Strong planning and development abilities.
- Ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Proactive, passionate, and supportive team player.
- Access to a personal vehicle with business insurance for off‑site activities.
