Advanced Nurse Practitioner (up to 36 hrs/week)

About the role

The practice is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a motivated, friendly team in Eyemouth. You will work up to 36 hours per week across four days, providing autonomous assessment and management of patients with minor injuries and illnesses.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and independently manage a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses.
• Provide patient care in line with clinical guidelines and practice protocols.
• Collaborate with GP mentors and peer advanced nurse practitioners for support and guidance.
• Participate in a thorough induction programme and ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Qualified nurse with clinical training and skills to work autonomously.
• Ability to assess and manage patients independently.
• Motivated, friendly and able to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Independent prescribing qualification preferred but not essential.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment of minor injuries and illnesses.
• Patient management and care planning.
• Independent prescribing (preferred qualification).
