AI Security Specialist

About the role

As an AI Security Specialist you will protect the design, development and deployment of artificial intelligence across Lloyds Banking Group. Working within the Chief Security Office’s Security Data & AI Lab, you will blend cyber security, cloud engineering and advanced AI to keep customers, colleagues and systems safe.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and embed the AI Security strategy across the business.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to integrate security controls into AI systems from the start.
• Assess and strengthen the security of AI platforms and applications, including adversarial testing.
• Design and deploy AI‑driven security capabilities such as threat detection, anomaly detection and incident response.
• Advise on risk, compliance and regulatory requirements as AI technologies evolve.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in artificial intelligence, cyber security or related fields.
• Proven experience securing AI systems and public‑cloud applications.
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles, IAM, encryption, network security and secure application design.
• 2+ years hands‑on public‑cloud security engineering or security tooling configuration.
• Solid knowledge of machine‑learning concepts and common model architectures.
