Algorithmic Trading Associate

About the role

Join us as an Algorithmic Trading Associate. In this engaging role you will be responsible for pricing and risk management of electronic and voice spot FX, delivering liquidity to our client franchise while maximising volumes and profitability. You will work closely with quant, technology, sales and supporting teams as part of a global desk strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Review data to optimise pricing and hedging parameters, maximising profitability and volumes with clients.
• Collaborate with trading and quant teams to develop and improve the analysis framework.
• Work closely with sales to understand client needs, implement client strategy and optimise client setups and spreads.
• Drive eFX product improvement by creating novel pricing and hedging ideas and validating them with quant and technology teams.
• Ensure robust controls by partnering with risk, technology and controls teams to design and implement regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive eFX trading experience, particularly book running.
• Strong customer focus and experience in client meetings.
• Commercial and entrepreneurial approach to idea creation, validation and implementation.
• Collaborative and collegiate problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Familiarity with Q language.
