Architect – Sustainable Design (Bristol)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Architect to join our employee‑owned multidisciplinary design practice in Bristol. The role offers the chance to work on innovative, sustainable, people‑focused projects from concept through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Support and lead architectural projects across all RIBA stages.
• Produce creative and technically detailed design solutions.
• Prepare planning, presentation and construction drawing packages.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Attend design meetings, workshops and site visits.
• Assist with project delivery, technical detailing and compliance.
• Utilise Revit/BIM and other industry‑standard software.
• Support sustainable design and placemaking initiatives.
• Contribute to studio discussions and project reviews.

Required profile

• Qualified architect with experience in a UK practice.
• Strong design, technical and presentation abilities.
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and project delivery.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage workloads effectively.
• Passionate about sustainable, people‑centred design and career development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit/BIM.
• Technical drawing production.
