Associate Director Project Controls

About the role

Walker Sime, part of HanmiGlobal, is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead its Project Controls service line within the Infrastructure division. Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality controls across complex programmes while driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Project Controls offering covering planning, cost, risk, change and reporting.
• Own the Project Controls P&L, including forecasting, utilisation and pipeline management.
• Deliver strategic insight and oversight on large infrastructure programmes.
• Build and maintain client relationships, supporting bids and business development.
• Recruit, mentor and manage a high‑performing Project Controls team.
• Ensure consistency, governance and continuous improvement across delivery systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience at Associate Director level or equivalent.
• Strong background in programme, cost, risk and change management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage service‑line performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and business development skills.
• Experience in infrastructure, energy, utilities or major capital programmes.
