About the role
The Clinical Fellow (ST1‑2) in General Internal Medicine will join Dr Gray’s Hospital, a district general hospital serving the Moray community. This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers the chance to care for acutely unwell medical patients within a dynamic, forward‑thinking team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide acute medical care on the General Medical Ward, ACE unit, AMAU, Stroke Ward and HDU.
- Collaborate with specialty services including Diabetes, Cardiology and Gastroenterology.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to patient pathways from admission to discharge.
- Engage in clinical audits, research projects and teaching activities.
Required profile
- Medical graduate eligible for ST1‑2 training in the UK.
- Strong interest in acute internal medicine and care of elderly patients.
- Commitment to NHS values of equality, diversity and patient‑centred care.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Required skills
- Echocardiography
- CT imaging
- Ultrasound
