Cluster Residential Child Care Worker

About the role

Join Pebbles Care as a Cluster Residential Child Care Worker, supporting children aged 8‑18 across a small cluster of homes in North West England. You will work varied shift patterns, providing therapeutic care, life‑skill teaching and daily practical support.

Key responsibilities

• Drive children to school, appointments and outings (full UK manual driving licence required).
• Teach and model life‑skills such as meal preparation, household chores and personal care.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities, outings and holiday experiences.
• Provide one‑to‑one or two‑to‑one support tailored to each young person’s needs.
• Work a rota of two days on (including sleep‑over) and four days off, averaging 56.4 hours per week.

Required profile

• Flexible approach to work patterns and shift cover.
• Commitment to safeguarding and a caring, resilient nature.
• Valid full UK manual driving licence.
• Patience, non‑judgmental attitude and strong communication skills.
