About the role
Swansea Women’s Aid is seeking a part‑time Community Fundraiser to help secure vital funding for its specialist services supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. Working 7 hours per week on a six‑month fixed‑term contract, you will play a key role in generating unrestricted income to sustain accommodation and outreach programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a mixed programme of community fundraising activities.
- Identify and engage potential donors, sponsors and community partners.
- Organise events, campaigns and outreach initiatives to raise awareness and funds.
- Track fundraising performance against agreed targets and report progress.
- Maintain accurate records of donations and donor communications.
Required profile
- Women only post, in line with Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1.
- Commitment to diversity and equality, with openness to applicants from all backgrounds.
- Welsh speaking candidates are especially welcomed.
- Ability to work independently for 7 hours per week over a six‑month period.
