Compassionate Healthcare Assistant – Flexible Shifts in Glasgow

About the role

Mid-View Healthcare is looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants and Care Support Workers to join its team in Glasgow and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible shift patterns across various care homes, allowing you to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care while enjoying a varied working schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist service users with mobility, transfers and safe movement.
• Offer companionship, emotional support and encourage independence.
• Support meal preparation, hydration and nutrition monitoring.
• Follow individual care plans and adhere to safeguarding procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in the care sector.
• Right to work in the UK, PVG clearance and a valid SSSC number.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable with strong communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Flexible to cover evenings and weekends; full driving licence preferred.
