Consultant / Senior Project Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Consultant/Senior Project Manager to support the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of construction, transportation and infrastructure projects across the UK. You will develop comprehensive project plans, manage budgets, and coordinate a wide range of stakeholders to ensure high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project plans covering scope, budget, schedule and resource requirements.
• Support or oversee delivery, coordinating clients, contractors, designers, communications and engagement teams.
• Ensure deliverables meet client requirements and adhere to local standards, regulations and internal procedures.
• Manage project budgets, monitor expenses and proactively prevent overspend.
• Assist in preparing contract documents, including scope, site information and conditions.
• Conduct site visits during design and construction phases to assess progress and report issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients and contractors, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain compliance with NRP project administration requirements and support quality assurance processes.
