Corporate Tax Senior

About the role

This position offers an ambitious tax professional the chance to develop within a supportive, close‑knit team of around 36 employees. You will work with a varied client portfolio, gaining exposure to a broad range of corporate and personal tax matters while enjoying a genuine work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients.
• Prepare and review corporation tax returns.
• Provide tax compliance and advisory support across diverse sectors.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and design tax‑efficient structures.
• Handle HMRC correspondence and enquiries.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor junior team members where appropriate.
• Contribute to process improvements and departmental growth.

Required profile

• ATT, ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience).
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong understanding of UK tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop.
• UK resident with permanent, unrestricted right to work.

Required skills

• Corporate tax compliance and advisory.
• Experience with SDLT, employment taxes, payroll taxes or broader business taxation.
• Reviewing work and supporting junior team members.
