About the role
Join the ‘At Your Service’ Call Centre in Peterborough, the global hub for Addison Lee customer service. As a Customer Service Advisor you will help deliver an award‑winning experience by handling calls, emails and bookings for our transport network.
Key responsibilities
- Manage customer contacts across telephone and email channels.
- Maintain high accuracy and quality while exceeding performance targets.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience and resolve complaints with empathy.
- Process vehicle booking requests promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to solve customer queries.
Required profile
- Contact‑centre experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Previous customer‑service experience in any sector is desirable.
- Ability to work well under pressure, showing resilience and good time‑management.
- Confidence using IT programmes such as Microsoft Packages.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required skills
- Microsoft Packages (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
What we offer
- Salary of £26,650 per year (£12.81 per hour).
- Various shift patterns covering early, mid and late hours, with two weekends out of three as standard.
- Three‑week training programme (Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑5:30 pm).
- Eight‑hour shifts with two 15‑minute breaks and a 30‑minute lunch.
