About the role
The Data Administrator will join a multidisciplinary team delivering an under‑18 substance‑use service in Sheffield. Working in a charitable environment, you will ensure data is accurately captured, managed and reported to support frontline services and enhance the service’s online presence.
Key responsibilities
- Process correspondence and perform routine data entry.
- Take minutes at partnership, team and other meetings.
- Maintain and update internal databases, ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Lead database development and management to meet user and service requirements.
- Support day‑to‑day office operations, including visitor management, phone handling and rota coordination.
- Liaise with central teams and contractors for facilities and health‑and‑safety compliance.
- Prepare statistical data and reports for management.
- Input, check and validate data on national information systems (PHE, NDTMS, CRIIS).
- Help transform the service’s social‑media presence and create engaging content.
Required profile
- Experience in data entry and database management within a health or social‑care setting.
- Familiarity with national health information systems such as PHE, NDTMS and CRIIS.
- Ability to produce accurate statistical reports.
- Comfort working in a multidisciplinary team and handling confidential information.
- Interest in supporting social‑media initiatives to reach children and young people.
