Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data Insights and Analytics team within the IT Infrastructure and Services department. You will help turn raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions, supporting our customers, colleagues and overall strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain end‑to‑end data feeds that support analytics and reporting.
• Develop, test and manage data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Visualisation Engineers and other engineers to ensure data flows reliably from business systems to consumers.
• Work with our modern, scalable cloud data warehouse to create data products for the organisation.
• Apply engineering best practices to deliver robust, scalable and efficient data solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in building data pipelines and data modelling.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
