About the role

Join TikTok's global Data Science team supporting TikTok Shop. As a graduate data scientist you will work on impactful data products, metrics, and algorithm improvements while gaining exposure to a fast‑growing e‑commerce environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business, product, algorithm, strategy and engineering teams to design data solutions for critical problems and growth opportunities.
• Conduct insightful analyses, identify trends, and communicate findings to drive business impact.
• Lead data strategy by integrating new data sets and partnering with engineers to develop data products.
• Research and implement statistical models, A/B tests, and innovative analytical experiments.
• Utilise algorithms and models to mine large data stores, perform error analysis, and improve model performance.
• Clean, validate and ensure data quality for uniformity and accuracy.
• Adopt AI tools to automate and scale analytical workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Fluent English for daily work.
• Strong logical thinking, business interpretation ability and quick learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for numbers and data analysis.
