About the role
We are seeking a Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design of large‑scale medical equipment. You will work from concept through to manufacture, becoming the technical expert for a global healthcare manufacturer.
Key responsibilities
- Develop mechanical designs and detailed drawings for medical devices.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to resolve engineering and production issues.
- Support the engineering team with project management, testing and quality approval activities.
- Work within a Monday‑Friday, on‑site manufacturing environment.
Required profile
- Mechanical engineering background.
- Proven experience in CAD‑based design.
- Hands‑on experience working with engineering and production teams.
- Ability to commute to Thame, Oxfordshire.
