DevOps Engineer

About the role

Lorum is rebuilding clearing infrastructure for regulated financial institutions. As a DevOps Engineer you will design, build and operate the cloud platform that powers this ambitious clearing service, ensuring it is secure, reliable and highly automated.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, following best‑practice state management.
• Operate Git‑driven Terraform automation tools such as Atlantis for auditable infrastructure changes.
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD, including build, test, release and infrastructure deployment pipelines.
• Improve developer experience with fast, reliable pipelines, automated testing and pre‑merge checks.
• Run production services on‑call, respond to incidents, conduct post‑mortems and participate in capacity planning.
• Instrument systems with metrics, logs and tracing to drive reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with Security and GRC teams to meet SOC 2, ISO 27001 and related compliance requirements, handling secrets management, IAM policies and encryption at rest.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience building and operating cloud infrastructure for mission‑critical applications.
• Strong automation mindset with a focus on ownership and reliability.
• Ability to work closely with backend, security and product teams in a fast‑moving fintech environment.
