Digital Learning Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Digital Learning Lead to join the Organisational Development and Learning team at UWE Bristol. In this role you will design, develop, implement and continuously improve high‑quality digital learning solutions that support the university’s strategic goals and mandatory learning compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation and optimisation of e‑learning resources and learning pathways across the institution.
• Act as a trusted adviser to subject‑matter experts and L&D colleagues on digital learning best practice.
• Design and manage platforms that enable self‑directed, inclusive and evidence‑informed learning.
• Identify, trial and embed innovative approaches, including responsible use of AI, to enhance learning efficiency, quality and reach.
• Ensure digital solutions are accessible, measurable and aligned with organisational priorities, challenging requests that reduce impact.

Required profile

• Confident technical ability combined with strong relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience creating and curating engaging e‑learning content.
• Commitment to UWE values of ambition, inclusion and innovation.
