Digital Marketing Intern – Film & Theatrical Marketing

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join Sony Pictures’ Theatrical Marketing team in London. This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers hands‑on experience in film‑focused digital campaigns and the chance to work alongside seasoned marketers in a fast‑moving entertainment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Order and manage creative assets such as digital TV spots and coordinate with agencies.
• Track, screen‑grab and verify bought digital media campaigns across display, programmatic and social platforms.
• Update performance metrics for trailer launches using Sony Pictures View Tracker.
• Maintain the social posting calendar for UK theatrical channels and support the Digital Marketing Executive.
• Research and recommend creators and influencers suitable for campaign objectives.
• Manage the digital contact database, including invitations for screenings and premieres.
• Assist with allocation of merchandise, online competitions and media desk drops.
• Compile wrap reports, raise purchase orders and handle finance‑related requests and travel bookings.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (maximum 1 year of experience) with a genuine interest in digital and social media marketing.
• Conscientious team player willing to go the extra mile.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
