Early Years Educator

About the role

We are looking for an Early Years Educator to lead a playroom in our new Upminster nursery, delivering the N Curriculum through play, learning and meaningful connections.

Key responsibilities

• Inspire learning through our play‑based N Curriculum
• Support smooth daily routines, including mealtimes and naptimes
• Create and implement development‑focused activity plans
• Carry out observations, assessments and planning for key children
• Build strong, trusted relationships with children and families
• Maintain a safe, clean and engaging classroom environment
• Embed all policies and procedures into daily practice
• Be a positive role model, collaborate, motivate and share ideas

Required profile

• Experience working with children in an early years environment
• Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (full & relevant)
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and willingness to train
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to refresh)
• Genuine passion for education and changing children’s lives
• Team player with a can‑do attitude and positive mindset
• Confident communicator with a love for customer service

Required skills

• Early Years qualification (Level 2+)
• Paediatric First Aid certification
• Safeguarding knowledge
