Electrician – Commercial & Domestic Services

About the role

Sureserve is seeking a qualified Electrician to deliver inspection, testing, maintenance and fault‑finding services for commercial and domestic electrical systems. You will work on reactive repairs, planned maintenance contracts and new installations, ensuring all work meets safety standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in commercial and domestic electrical installations, including rewiring and system monitoring.
• Respond to reactive repair and maintenance requests, participating in an on‑call rota as required.
• Carry out routine testing and maintenance of emergency lighting, fire alarms, security and door‑entry systems.
• Install new lighting, heating and other electrical systems to manufacturer specifications.
• Order parts in line with company procedures and preferred suppliers.
• Perform PAT testing on appliances and lighting where qualified.
• Provide exceptional customer service on‑site and address client queries promptly.

Required profile

• Relevant electrical qualifications and up‑to‑date CPD.
• Familiarity with NICEIC requirements and building regulation codes.
• Willingness to work on‑call and travel to client sites.
• Commitment to health & safety standards, including use of PPE and company ID.
