EMEA Controller – Accounting Leadership

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on, experienced Controller to lead our European Accounting team. The role oversees accounting for UK and European entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and US GAAP, while maintaining a robust SOX environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and quarter‑end closing activities for all assigned entities.
• Ensure high‑quality account reconciliations and detailed balance‑sheet reviews.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and corporate finance teams to deliver statutory financial statements.
• Maintain SOX compliance and collaborate with internal audit and external SOX auditors.
• Provide guidance on accounts payable, fixed assets, accounts receivable, lease accounting, and other general accounting processes.
• Drive process and system improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and control environment.
• Coach and develop team members to achieve high performance.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Progressive accounting experience with strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and UK/IFRS.
• High level of integrity, self‑starter attitude, and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
