Fabric Engineer – Mobile Maintenance Role in South East London

About the role

This is a mobile role covering South East London, providing maintenance services to high‑profile clients and delivering work to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide maintenance services to high‑profile clients across South East London, responding to reactive and remedial tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, source parts and materials, and obtain manufacturer support.
• Complete detailed work write‑ups and maintain operation and maintenance logs.
• Perform tasks within agreed timescales, complying with regulations and contract specifications.
• Use PDAs or electronic devices to record work and liaise with the Helpdesk.
• Conduct risk assessments for each task and uphold health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Relevant trade qualification to C&G or NVQ Level 2/3.
• Minimum 3 years experience in building maintenance, especially reactive and remedial work.
• Broad knowledge of building systems, including carpentry, wet trades, minor plumbing, tiling and ground works.
• Full UK driver’s licence.
