Finance Manager – Consumer Roadside FP&A

About the role

RAC is looking for a Finance Manager to join the Consumer Roadside FP&A team. This hands‑on position will own financial reporting and business partnering for one of the company’s largest commercial areas, delivering high‑quality insights in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate month‑end reporting, owning the full P&L and balance sheet.
• Manage accruals, pre‑payments and key balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain strong financial controls, governance and audit readiness.
• Provide clear, actionable analysis of revenue, costs and performance drivers.
• Support budgeting, re‑forecasting and translate data into actionable insights.
• Partner with finance, pricing and account‑management teams to influence commercial decisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements for reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Recently qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a fast‑paced or operationally complex environment.
• Ability to quickly take ownership of new areas and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
