Financial Controller

About the role

Join Keywords Studios as a Financial Controller and become a central part of our finance team, delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decisions for our UK studios. You will work in a hybrid environment across our London or Brighton locations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and analysis for a studio
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensure SarbOx compliance
• Manage cash flow and intercompany recharges/reconciliations
• Prepare budgeting, forecasting and VAT returns
• Handle revenue recognition and statutory accounts, liaising with auditors
• Act as a business partner to senior stakeholders, providing performance and commercial analysis
• Liaise with the Shared Services Centre for accounts payable, receivable and credit control

Required profile

• Qualified (or nearly qualified) accountant
• Mature, dedicated approach with strong ambition and drive to succeed
• Good understanding of financial accounting
• Strong communication skills

Required skills

• Experience with Netsuite (essential)
• Experience with Tagetik (useful but not essential)
• Strong Excel skills (essential)
