Fitness Manager

About the role

Everlast Gyms is looking for a dynamic Fitness Manager to lead its fitness product offering. Reporting to the General Manager, you will inspire members and staff, drive engagement, and ensure the highest quality of training programmes across the gym.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the fitness ambassador for Everlast Gyms, modelling the brand’s standards.
• Oversee fitness products such as MOVE, REDEFINE, Personal Training, and Group Training.
• Lead national initiatives like #WorkoutWednesday and in‑gym challenges.
• Recruit, train, mentor and provide feedback to Fitness Coaches and Personal Trainers.
• Manage group‑training timetables and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Drive new member sales, retention and revenue from personal training and secondary spend.
• Deliver on‑shift classes and personal training sessions to company standards.

Required profile

• Passionate advocate for health, fitness and wellness.
• Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification and CIMSPA Practitioner status.
• Proven experience delivering personal training and group‑training programmes.
• Strong leadership, coaching and motivational abilities.
• Up‑to‑date with industry trends and fitness innovations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
