Full‑time PCV Driver – School & Private Hire

About the role

We are looking for experienced PCV drivers to join a family‑run coach operator in Cumbria. You will operate luxury PCV vehicles on school contracts, private hires and tours, providing a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Drive PCV vehicles on school routes, private hire jobs and tour assignments.
• Perform pre‑shift vehicle checks, cleaning, refuelling and preparation.
• Deliver excellent customer service to passengers and clients.

Required profile

• Full Category D licence and a valid Driver CPC.
• Minimum one year of PCV driving experience.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and good knowledge of the local area.
• Security checks and a current Cumberland and WaF Council driver card are advantageous.

What we offer

• Permanent contract with hourly pay ranging from £12.75 to £21.00.
