Graduate Backend Software Engineer – RegTech

About the role

Join Suade’s Graduate Software Engineering programme and help build innovative RegTech solutions. As a Backend Engineer you will work at the intersection of finance, regulation and technology, turning complex regulatory requirements into reliable software.

Key responsibilities

• Translate regulatory requirements into robust, maintainable Python code.
• Design, develop and extend core components of the regulatory reporting platform.
• Participate in code reviews, testing strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Understanding of testing principles and Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
