About the role
Join BAE Systems as a Graduate Submarines Systems Engineer and contribute to the design, development and testing of the Royal Navy's most advanced submarines. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to translate customer needs into practical system solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Support the capture, definition, analysis, and management of system requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Assist in system design, optimisation, integration and testing activities.
- Develop virtual models of systems and subsystems for modelling and simulation.
- Utilise tools such as Enterprise Architect, MATLAB, Simulink and JIRA to support engineering tasks.
- Participate in validation and verification activities to ensure the right system is built correctly.
Required profile
- Recent graduate with a degree in engineering, systems engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm for working on complex defence projects.
