Group Financial Controller

About the role

This is a high‑impact leadership position reporting to the CFO of a fast‑growing B2B company delivering AI‑enabled digital infrastructure. You will shape and mature the finance function while working in a dynamic, capital‑backed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group‑wide financial reporting, delivering timely, high‑quality consolidated results in line with accounting standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Establish and maintain a best‑in‑class financial control environment, overseeing statutory reporting, external audit processes, and the integrity of the Group’s financial statements.
• Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to develop short‑ to medium‑term financial and strategic plans.
• Manage the Group’s capital structure and financing arrangements, including debt facilities, covenant compliance, hedging, and relationships with lenders, investors and external advisors.
• Develop and enhance the finance function, driving continuous improvement across systems, processes and governance while building a high‑performing, scalable team.

Required profile

• Experience in an infrastructure or asset‑heavy business is ideal.
• Comfortable being hands‑on in an early‑stage, evolving organisation.
• Strong communication skills with business partners and stakeholders.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
