Head of Business Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Business Transformation to lead enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives within a high‑performance motorsport environment at Silverstone. Reporting to the Director of Programmes, you will drive operational excellence, process optimisation, digital transformation and cross‑functional performance improvements across engineering, operations, finance, IT and business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the enterprise‑wide business process transformation roadmap aligned with strategic, operational and financial objectives.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify and deliver high‑impact transformation and continuous‑improvement initiatives across all business functions.
• Optimise, standardise and automate core business processes to improve efficiency, reporting capability and operational performance.
• Lead implementation, enhancement and adoption of enterprise systems and digital platforms, including ERP, PLM, planning and reporting tools.
• Define business requirements and ensure solutions deliver measurable value, scalability and compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance and stakeholders to establish governance, controls and audit‑ready frameworks aligned with FIA cost‑cap regulations.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure transformation success and drive accountability.
• Provide actionable insights, reporting and scenario analysis to support rapid decision‑making.
• Champion operational‑excellence methodologies and build high‑performing teams in Business Analysis, BoM Control and Cost Engineering.
• Coach, mentor and develop teams while fostering cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, IT, PMO and external partners.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in business transformation, operational excellence or process optimisation within Formula 1, motorsport or a comparable high‑performance engineering environment.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise‑wide transformation programmes involving ERP, PLM or other business‑critical systems.
• Strong knowledge of continuous‑improvement methodologies and ability to embed a culture of innovation and efficiency.
• Excellent strategic, analytical and problem‑solving capability with experience translating data into actionable business outcomes.
