Head of Capital Formation

About the role

Symbiotic is building the infrastructure for on‑chain collateral markets. As Head of Capital Formation you will work directly with the CEO to attract institutional capital to Symbiotic’s vaults and partner products, spanning real‑world assets, reinsurance, and emerging on‑chain collateral markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead allocator coverage for Symbiotic’s reinsurance product, engaging ILS funds, reinsurers and structured‑product desks.
• Translate complex vault mechanics, collateral frameworks and product structures into clear investor‑facing narratives.
• Attract capital into vaults built on Symbiotic’s infrastructure for underwriting, liquidity provision and broader on‑chain financial products.
• Own investor‑relations activities: track allocator timelines, product pipelines and market demand, and surface trends to internal teams.
• Coordinate with product and operations teams to align offerings with allocator requirements.
• Develop and mature institutional materials such as decks, IC memos, data rooms and term sheets.
• Represent Symbiotic at conferences, partner meetings and industry events across crypto and institutional finance.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in capital formation, preferably within institutional finance or crypto‑related markets.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end allocator relationships and close deals.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical product details to non‑technical investors.
