Health & Safety Officer – EMEA

About the role

The Health & Safety Officer will support Monster Energy’s H&S Manager in implementing and continuously improving the health and safety management system across the EMEA region. This hands‑on role involves extensive interaction with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure compliance with local legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the H&S Manager in developing and maintaining the Monster Health and Safety Management System.
• Assist leadership groups with implementation and continual improvement of the safety system across all business units.
• Liaise with external service providers and site management to ensure compliance with territorial safety legislation.
• Act as the primary contact for H&S matters in allocated EMEA areas.
• Travel across EMEA to visit sites, events and activities.
• Conduct or organise risk assessments and ensure safe systems of work are documented and accessible.
• Perform regular audits of sites and activities to verify legal and policy compliance.
• Create, progress and monitor safety action plans to reduce identified risks.
• Identify training requirements, deliver H&S inductions and review training programmes across EMEA locations.

Required profile

• Hands‑on approach with strong stakeholder interaction skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the EMEA region.
• Experience advising on health and safety matters and ensuring legislative compliance.
• Knowledge of local safety legislation in multiple EMEA territories.
