Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking a pragmatic Human Resources Manager to lead UK HR operations for a leading energy producer. Based on‑site in central London four days a week, you will own the employee lifecycle for both UK‑based staff and international assignees, driving a shift toward a value‑focused human capital model.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑End Ownership: Manage the full employee lifecycle for UK‑contracted staff and international assignees.
• Operational Excellence: Strengthen onboarding, policy management and HR data systems to improve efficiency.
• Strategic Transition: Support the move from traditional HR support to a long‑term, value‑driven human capital approach.
• Team Development: Partner with the existing HR team to build capability, mentor junior colleagues and promote a global “one team” mindset.
• Trusted Advisory: Provide pragmatic, credible advice to managers on complex employee relations and performance matters.

Required profile

• Proven Generalist Expertise with deep knowledge of UK employment law.
• International Perspective and experience in multicultural environments, preferably within the energy sector.
• Disciplined Execution with a hands‑on, detail‑oriented approach.
• Relationship‑Driven with strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Solutions‑Focused, able to influence and lead change.
• Bilingual Advantage: French fluency is a strong plus.
