Indirect Tax Manager – Global VAT/GST Compliance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to lead our global VAT/GST compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions. This newly created role offers the chance to shape tax governance and drive digital transformation within a high‑visibility international business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage VAT/GST compliance in numerous international jurisdictions.
• Oversee preparation, review and submission of indirect tax returns.
• Own VAT account reconciliations and safeguard reporting integrity.
• Monitor global VAT and e‑invoicing developments and assess business impact.
• Lead implementation and management of e‑invoicing and real‑time reporting requirements.
• Partner with finance and IT to embed compliant processes within ERP systems.
• Support governance, controls, automation and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Advise on cross‑border transactions, supply‑chain changes and new business activities.

Required profile

• Strong indirect tax/VAT experience in a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to work across international compliance frameworks.
• Experience with e‑invoicing, digital reporting or tax‑technology projects.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and business‑partnering skills.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and solutions‑focused approach.
