IT Deployment Technician Intern – 8-12 Week Paid Internship in London

About the role

This 8‑12 week paid internship supports a large‑scale laptop refresh project at Zayo Europe's London office. You will gain hands‑on experience in IT operations, device deployment and end‑user support while working closely with the EU IT team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and configure new Windows 11 laptops using SCCM and other deployment tools.
• Perform basic quality checks and imaging processes.
• Coordinate handovers, assist users with Microsoft 365 setup, and support data migration to OneDrive.
• Update asset records in ServiceNow and track devices through preparation, deployment and return stages.
• Collect and securely handle retired laptops according to internal procedures.
• Support daily deployment targets and provide additional assistance to the Service Desk when project timelines shift.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about building practical IT experience in a corporate environment.
• Comfortable working on‑site in a fast‑paced project setting.
• Willingness to follow documented procedures and seek guidance when troubleshooting.
