IT Manager – UK

About the role

Vulcain Engineering is seeking an IT Manager to lead and coordinate all IT activities across its UK entities. The role acts as the focal point for implementing Group IT policies, delivering reliable and secure services, and supporting the integration of new entities.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the UK in the Group IT Committee, ensuring clear escalation and communication.
• Align IT services across UK entities with business needs while respecting budget targets.
• Maintain overall responsibility for UK IT systems, suppliers, and daily operational performance.
• Lead UK IT coordination meetings and align priorities with Group IT.
• Design and deliver a UK‑specific IT strategy that supports both local goals and Group objectives.
• Manage UK IT suppliers, procurement activities, and drive cost‑efficiency.
• Support rollout and adoption of Group IT solutions within UK entities.
• Oversee IT security compliance, enforce the Group IT Security Policy, and maintain certifications such as Cyber Essentials+.
• Administer the UK IT budget, evaluate risks, and collaborate with the Group CTO on network security and resilience.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing IT services across multiple business units.
• Strong knowledge of IT security standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., Cyber Essentials+).
• Experience overseeing IT budgets and supplier relationships.
• Ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
