IT Security Training Manager

About the role

We are seeking an IT Security Training Manager to join our client’s IT Security team on a permanent basis. The role is based in Aberdeen and requires on‑site presence four days a week. You will lead the design and delivery of cyber‑security awareness initiatives across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive cyber‑security awareness month programme.
• Plan, create and deliver regular phishing awareness campaigns.
• Design and run the annual cyber‑security training curriculum for all staff.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to ensure training relevance and effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT trainer, including planning, creation and delivery of training materials.
• Demonstrated ability to run and manage phishing awareness campaigns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence presenting to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
• Experience within a cyber‑security team is desirable.
