IT Support Desk Analyst – Insurance (London)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Desk Analyst to be the first point of contact for all technology queries within a fast‑moving insurance organisation in London. The role blends day‑to‑day service‑desk duties with exposure to wider IT operations, vendor management and strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware and network issues across the business.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access in Active Directory.
• Support meeting‑room technology, office devices and overall infrastructure.
• Assist with asset management, system monitoring and routine IT operations.
• Collaborate with the IT Manager on vendor coordination, reporting, documentation and project delivery (upgrades, audits, roll‑outs).

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in an IT support or service‑desk role.
• Previous experience in insurance or financial services (essential).
• Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude with a desire to develop into infrastructure, projects or broader IT operations.
