About the role

BABEL, a multinational technology consultancy, is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead infrastructure and IT systems projects. The role involves planning, executing, and monitoring complex initiatives while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and control all phases of infrastructure and systems projects.
• Monitor progress against objectives, deadlines and deliverables.
• Manage technical teams and support functional leads.
• Control project quality, risks and issue resolution.
• Serve as primary liaison with clients and provide regular status reporting.
• Participate in effort estimation, scope definition and technical proposal development.

Required profile

• University degree or higher education in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of proven experience managing infrastructure and IT systems projects.
• Strong knowledge of agile (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional (Waterfall) methodologies.
• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating with clients.
• Excellent documentation, planning and communication abilities.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Preferred experience in hyper‑convergence, databases, DevOps or communications.
• Valuable certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL.
