Junior Full Stack Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Full‑Stack Developer to join Durell Software’s Bristol team. You will work on our market‑leading underwriting platforms, Schemes and QuotePortal, contributing to both new development and ongoing maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features for the Schemes and QuotePortal products.
• Collaborate with senior developers and the Tech Director on client delivery briefs.
• Write clean, well‑tested code following OOP, SOLID and REST principles.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging and source‑control activities.
• Support the deployment and scaling of applications on AWS and Azure environments.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication within a team.
• Interest in both back‑end and front‑end development and delivering a good user experience.
