Junior Management Accountant / Assistant Comptable

Main Missions

• Transactional Finance: Manage invoicing, bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
• Financial Operations: Oversee factoring management, expense claims, and coordinate with payroll.
• Month-End & Reporting: Assist in the monthly closing process, prepare management accounts, perform journal entries, and maintain the fixed asset register.
• Compliance: Handle VAT declarations and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in transactional finance (AR, AP, or similar roles).
• A proactive, motivated, and ambitious mindset with a desire to grow within a scale-up.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with spreadsheets.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment while collaborating closely with the Financial Controller.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero or similar).
• Advanced Excel/Spreadsheet skills.
• Strong understanding of transactional accounting processes.
• Knowledge of FMCG or fast-paced business environments is a plus.
