Junior Software Engineer – 3DVis Cloud Team

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join the 3DVis Cloud team. You will help deliver best‑in‑class 3D visualisation and XR cloud streaming technologies that support the company’s industrial software portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Implement defined features, bug fixes and user stories following team standards.
• Write and maintain automated unit tests and support continuous integration.
• Collaborate with developers, SDETs and DevOps engineers to clarify requirements and deliver sprint commitments.
• Assist with debugging, improving logging, and enhancing diagnostic capabilities.
• Support production systems by investigating issues and delivering well‑scoped fixes.

Required profile

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a technical role (internships count).
• Strong learning mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work in a scaled‑agile (SAFe) environment.

Required skills

• C# programming language.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Fundamental software development principles: OOP, Unit Testing, SOLID, DRY.
• Experience or interest in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines.
