Laboratory Technician – Tuesday to Saturday

About the role

ALS is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join its Trowbridge site, working Tuesday to Saturday. You will test a variety of finished food products and ingredients using analytical techniques and support the sample receipt department on weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Perform analyses according to documented methodologies.
• Follow all processes and procedures to maximise efficiency.
• Conduct daily quality‑control checks and calibrate equipment.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation.
• Adhere to site Quality Management, health and safety procedures, and protocols.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Keen eye for detail and strong time‑management abilities.
• Methodical approach to work.
