Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Legal Counsel to join a fast‑growing legal technology group. This remote, UK‑based role will act as a strategic partner to Sales, Product, Security and Finance, shaping the scaling legal function and driving enterprise negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial SaaS contracting, including drafting and negotiating MSAs, SaaS agreements and DPAs.
• Own end‑to‑end enterprise‑level negotiations from initiation to execution.
• Provide advice on intellectual property, data privacy and cross‑border data transfers.
• Develop and maintain modern, plain‑language contract templates and internal policies.
• Build deep understanding of the product and technology landscape to inform legal strategy.
• Streamline legal operations to support global scaling.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Demonstrated commercial contracting experience, preferably in SaaS or technology environments.
• Exposure to privacy and data protection matters.
• Solution‑focused mindset with the ability to balance risk and business objectives.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with non‑legal stakeholders.
