Logistics Manager

About the role

Vertiv is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join its LV Switchgear & Busbar divisions. Based in Burnfoot, County Donegal (with responsibilities also covering Campsie, Derry and Letterkenny), you will lead the logistics function, ensuring the smooth movement of goods from origin to destination while maintaining safety, quality and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee logistics and shipping teams across multiple sites, coordinating inbound and outbound activities.
• Maintain a safe work environment for employees, contractors and visitors.
• Manage the timely availability of packaging consumables such as pallets, foil bags and stretch wrap.
• Arrange lifting equipment, transport and manpower for safe loading and unloading of products.
• Ensure compliance with national and international trade regulations and maintain accurate shipping documentation.
• Monitor and manage contracts with transport providers and logistics service partners ethically and transparently.
• Handle scrap material transactions in line with ESG criteria.
• Identify and implement efficiency and cost‑saving opportunities within logistics operations.

Required profile

• Proven background in logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Experience coordinating multi‑site logistics activities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
