Maintenance Technician – Corporate Facilities (Milton Keynes)

About the role

Anabas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support corporate office occupiers in Milton Keynes. You will ensure the premises operate at a high standard by carrying out electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fabric duties, as well as general handyperson tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance and repair of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and related mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections, performance assessments and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, including fault finding and return‑to‑service activities.
• Perform testing, inspection and certification in line with site procedures.
• Support electrical controls tasks such as wiring control panels where required.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified (BEng/BSc or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications such as HETAS, BPEC, OFTEC, IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Experience with permitting systems and EFAW training.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime and call‑outs.

Required skills

• Electrical – 18th Edition or electrotechnical services.
• NVQ/C&G in mechanical, electrical or ventilation disciplines.
• Proficiency with Building Management Systems (BMS) and CAFM/CMMS software.

• Full‑time permanent contract (40 hrs/week, Mon‑Fri 08:00‑17:00) with an annual salary of £44,400 (including call‑out pay).
