Managing Agent Officer – Leasehold Management

About the role
We are looking for a Managing Agent Officer to join our Commercial Services team and help deliver an excellent leasehold management service for residents. Based in Oldham’s Bower House office, this full‑time permanent role works in a hybrid model and focuses on customer experience across housing developments owned or managed by third‑party landlords.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality leasehold management and customer service for residents.
- Interpret and explain complex leasehold structures and related legislation.
- Scrutinise service charge demands, accounts and formal notices from managing agents, ensuring compliance.
- Address areas of concern or non‑compliance and enforce health and safety standards.
- Manage a varied workload, meet performance targets and support the team in a fast‑paced environment.
Required profile
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Solid knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 (S18‑30) and the Commonhold & Leasehold Reform Act 2002.
- Familiarity with RICS and ARMA guidelines and regulations.
- Experience delivering high levels of customer service and handling large workloads.
- Commitment to health and safety compliance and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
