Manufacturing Engineer – Fast‑paced Production (2 positions)

About the role

Team Swift is seeking two Manufacturing Engineers to support the high‑volume production of caravans, motorhomes and holiday homes. You will work in a fast‑moving environment where continuous improvement, innovation and quality are central to daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical production issues.
• Drive continuous‑improvement and waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Support engineering change activities and process enhancements.
• Develop and maintain technical standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with Logistics, SQA and Product Engineering teams.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing and quality‑focused projects.
• Improve production efficiency, quality and OTIF performance.

Required profile

• Manufacturing engineering experience in caravan, automotive or a similar industry.
• Proficiency with CAD tools or drawing‑office environments.
• Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering change systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proactive mindset capable of working under pressure.
